Natural Hair and the Corporate World
Tis the truth that the corporate world would rather hire a black woman with straight hair whether weave or her natural hair(she either straighten by hot comb or relaxed) then a woman with her natural hair, un-straightened in afro style. It is sad but it’s fact!
So what? I say wear what your like. If you love weaves, wear them. If you love the braids, wear them. If you embrace the natural, embrace it everywhere you go! I believe you can wear any style. The key is presentation. Keep your braids fresh, keep your protective styles fresh and keep your natural looking clean cut to suit whichever environment.
