Anonymous asked: I have a whole lot of thick long hair and I am wondering what is the best way to achieve a totally fluffed-out (full) look without the curls drawing up or springing back, which makes my hair look way-way shorter than it is. I just want my natural curls to be extended and full and not crunched up. Should I braid then roll it? Wet then braid and roll it? Moisturize, twist, braid? I am just not sure. I am not one to get relaxers and pressing is something I do not really want to do. HELP!!

Sorry we have had to sort through an influx of mail to get to you. Thanks for your patience. Have you tried wrapping your hair first then lightly blow-drying while your hair is still wrapped? This should flatten out the curls minus making your hair frizzy.  The heat will also extend your curls.  remember to use some heat protector before your wrap your head right up again and then blow-dry.  Pressing takes a lot of heat to your hair. Refrain from pressing and you’ll be just fine :)

Hope that helps out :)

You’re simply beautiful,
